| So its been aaaages since ive updated ...but i dont have time to go back to my place and i have a scene rehearsal in a half hour...so here is what i have been up to recently:
This summer was amazing! For the most part! Although there were some stressful things happening..i was able to learn a lot about myself and what i want out of certain areas of my life. I started the summer waitressin at the Pic then by they end of June i was up in Vermont doing " Tale of the Mandarine Ducks" with an amazing group of people. One of the funnest summers ive had! Unfortunately The summer kind of ended on a sad note ( with the passing of my little grandma O.) which really sucked. It was very sudden and incredibly sad...and in fact i think it has just really hit me hard the past couple of days...and it was a few days before my birthday...so my birthday was pretty low key this year. At the very very end of the summer...the weekend before i movied into school... i went to Maine with PH and his family..that was a nice escape from the previous week :)
Getting all my classses figured out and everything has been incredibly stressful due to all this pressure to graduate when i want to so i can afford to be here, but im trying to take things one step at a time.
I am in two shows right now and having simoultanious rehearsals...which is keeping me really busy. I have also been doing these bootcamp workouts 3 mornings a week with our technical director who was just recently sent home from the Army...so he is very hardcore...and i am very achy! :P
I also just started the South Beach Diet...so we will see how that goes. Its really hard to do this diet when you are on the go all time ...especially Phase one...where u basically eliminate ALL carbs...so no gronola bar or fruit on the go. So its hard but im pretty commited...so we'll see what happens.
On the unhealthy side of things...I woke up today feeling like crap. I was sick about 3 weeks ago and was diagnosed with Strep B..(non contagious) but i took the medicine for it...Now i feel ten times worse...my throat is killing me...i feel neausous...and i feel like i have a wickedddd high fever...so hopefully all this goes away by next weeks BFA Juries.
Speaking of Auditions...I am going crazy trying to find 4 all new monolouges...2 for juries and 2 for the spring shows as well as 2 songs. So i have to spend all the rest of this week and weekend trying to get better and rehearsing monolouges...AND i have so much paper work to do for Script Analysis...this is definitly the most stressful part of the semester...i wish they would space auditions out a little bit..but no they cram it all into this short little period...:( Half the reason im sick is prlly stress... :P
In other news...things with me and patrick are really good now..we had a little lapse for a couple weeks...cuz i needed to figure some stuff out ..blah blah..but now we are pretty much it for the long hall! :P haha we are madly in love and cant get enough of eachother awwwww.
Its two months till our 3 year anniversary! Craziness!...and we are getting an apartment together very very soon!! So hopefully all this works out!

| Well very very sadly the play and my time here in VT. has come to an end. The show was great and sooo much fun and i can't wait to get it on DVD! I am really struggling with leaving these people. I have gone on a lot of internships and summer programs and to new colleges and with each one comes a new group of people, but i have never in my life felt so attactched and so fond of a group of people. I hate that everyone lives so far away...when people leave they will be going to missouri and michigan and NY and JAPAN! Who knows if we will ever see each other again...
I am glad that i will be able to see some of them in a couple of weeks when i come to see the next show...plus its also my birthday weekend so i told them they have to throw me a suprize party! :P I'll forget im old.
Next weekend ill be going to NY for the week to visit my dad that will be really cool and then ill be back here to vermont, then maine, then ill be moving back to school into my new apartment with my love graceipoo! Cant wait! and i will be starting rehearsals for the fall show! :)
It sucks because as much as i want to write about all the happy things i have to look foward to i cant help but dwell on all the things ill be leaving. Im so pessamistic somtimes. These past few weeks have been very challenging, and mind blowing, and fun, and scary for me in my personal life as well as career and acting wise. There is soo much that i just want to write about and share with everyone, but i cant. | Sooo the show opened thursday and tonight will be our 5th show! All in all it went pretty well!

soooo yay! That was really cool especially since this guy is the nazi of all show critics! So I was really excited to see that!
I have been having a really good time up here...ive made some really good friends and it will be really sad to leave them at the end of the mounth. I think i might come up again for my birthday weekend..to hang out with them....i cant believe im gonna be 22...craziness.
Anyway the only downside of all this is....patrick. He is so far away and i havent seen him in forever....he's coming down next saturday which will be good but it has been really hard without him. For our anniversary he gave me this kick ass digital camera...he spent way to much money as usual but it was so nice. It takes amazing pictures!
My dad came up for a few days this week and that was fun...he really liked the show which was good...he saw it on preview night which kinda sucked because that was by far not our best night...i mean it wasnt bad..it just wasnt as good as it is now..o well. He brought his new dog patty. Sooooo cute!
Next weekend is cabaret and im wicked excited! I have a voice lesson tomorrow so im gonna work on my song...and i think me and melanie are gonna do a duet..but im having trouble thinking of one with two females....so if u have any suggestions let me know! :P
And Rueben wants to do seasons of love....so will see if that happens.....but im so excited that my aunt and uncle and cousins who now live in PA are coming to see the show that weekend so they will be able to see the cabaret...and they havent seen me anything since highschool ...so that will be very sweet.
Time is going by pretty fast....and i know before i know it ill be back at school and in rehearsals for the fall show.
Sometimes i feel like i really need to stop and really look at how good things are somtimes...that way when the bad shit happens it wont seem like the good times were just illusions...or something haha... | | comments: 1 comment or Leave a comment |
| Well if you don't already know I am in doing a show up in Vermont until the end of July. It was an unexpected turn of events. I got the call last thursday, quit my job Friday, and came up Saturday Am and went right into rehearsal.
The show is really cool. It is based on the award winning book and Japenese Folktale " The Tale of the Manderine Ducks". It involves learning lots of Japenese to be able to sing Japenese songs as well as speak some of it in the script. We are also learning Japenese Taiko drumming....which is insane since musical instruments are not my forte'...but also very cool.
The show has two versions. One longer adult version and a childrens show version. So we willbe doing the childrens show 3am's a week and the Adult version five nights a week for three weeks.
I love the interns and the other actors here. Everyone is very nce and there dont seem to be any really big ego's, and Im learning a lot about the Japanese culture since two of the young women actors are from Japan.
I am livig in Berlin ( a couple towns over) with this woman Denise and her cat kiki. Both are very nice haha. The only downfall is her house is in the boonies. Its up this huge scary dirt/gravel road...half the road is corroding away on the sides and the trees all cave in which makes the night drive realllllly creepy. I get no internet service, no phone service, and only channel 3 and 5 up there. So that kinda sucks. But i brought my dvd player and my collection of Sex and the City DvD's. And i spent most of my time in rehearsal or at the gym. So things are alright.
I miss PH and my friends and ma daddy....but im seeing them all soon.
well gotta go ...going out to dinner now... : )

| SO the summer begins...
So far things have started all right. Its nice to have my own space and the work out stuff downstairs so i can get in shape again.
They are doing Chicago next spring and there is no way im wearing a leotard until Im a little more in shape...so this summer is gonna be bootcamp haha.
Hopefully ill be starting work tomorrow or wednesday...then ill also be doing some acting and directing.
I really want to know find out when Company is coming out on broadway again...i cant wait to see it...I love that show!!
I cant wait for this weekend...im going to VT with Patrick. Its so beautful there this time a year...and there are Maple Creamies! mmmhmm
So in other news...Im so pissed because I did really well this semester all A's and one B+ equaling a 3.7 gpa....all i was missing was my history grade and then it comes in and im expecting a high B low A...but noooooo what do i get a fucking D-...Im like youve gotta be kidding me...We were graded on 3 things a midterm, a paper, and a final. I got an A- on the Midterm, a B+ on the paper....and i thought i did at the very least B work on the final...and i tried to get in touch with a bunch of different people about this...and no one has gotten back to me ...so im really aggravated ...this could ruin my chances at this scholarship im in the runnings for...that fuckin D- brings my GPA down to a 3.1
Also so bummed Elliot got voted off!!! He should have WON! Taylor's good but doesnt have half the voice Elliot did. Kat has the voice but the personality of a spoiled rich bitch....so i guess ill be voting for the soul patrol leader!

| Updatin on my brand new laptop...woot!
Went to the NETC's yesterday and it was pretty good. Hung out with DJ most of the time. It was fun to kind of show him the ropes. My audition was really good. And i did really well in my callbacks, i think. Except when this woman asked me to read the role in a cockney accent cuz i totally ended up doing it southern style..haha. O well...maybe she didnt notice...maybe? haha.
Anyway im just glad thats over now i have to wait to see if anything comes from it. Plus i have so many other things to concentrate on...Country wife, finals, etc.
Spring break's over. Back to school tonight...but first going to see The Lowel Lockmonsters with my baby and beth and daN and Kathy & ROb. Good times. Then its back to school to do some last minute hmwk, etc.

| Oooo i feel like crap. This week has been so sucky...and i just want to sleep the entire weekend. I am excited for the weekend though. Mainly because its a long weekend, but im also going to see the Incredibles on Ice tomorrow. woot! I love spending time with PH and ill finally get to hang out with the INFAMOUS Katie and her bf so that should be fuN!
I got a stupid standby for NETC's again! I really have to stop being such a procrastinator and get that app. in on time next year. Im sick of having to wait around all day... but hopefully some fellow salem staters will be there this year so that will be cool. :)

Well that wasted some time.
Not much to say ...Last night pat came over and since we are both on diets we went out and got some healthy food then we came back and made brownies but we didnt eat any ( soooo hard) haha. It was fun we just picked up all these random things to make as toppings. We crunched up reeses pb cups and kitKats and M&Ms and nuts and made that a toping then i crushed up andy's mints and put that as a topping. and more stuff. Very crazy messy fun time. Then we took turns giving each other back massages with the awesome new back massager he gave me.
I went to the denist this morning..got novicane for the first time ..it took forever to wear out and it was quite annoying..tradmilled for an hour..later im going to a party tonight with the chicapicante's.
Not too much else going on...memorizing my lines for the spring show and getting ready for another round of School and NETC auditions.
As the saying goes : "So much to do so little time".

| I have the worst stomach ache ever...i hope i dont have a virus or something ..bleh.
Last week with PH was like the best week i have had in a really long time! :)
He picked me up tuesday morning and then we went back to his place and exchanged presents...(so happy)
then we went to the cheesecake factory to celebrate. The portions there were ridonculous! Pat wanted to get nachos as usual as an app. So he ordered them...and we both sat in awe as they delivered this platter of like three big plates worth of nachos. We got almost all of them to go. Then we got our meals...same thing...i had like a mountain of mashed potatoes...after i finished what i could it didnt even look like i had touched it. We decided to take the majority of our meals to go because after all at the cheesecake factory u need to get dessert. So i got cheesecake...which was suprizingly not that great. (sad face). haha. And he doesnt like cheesecake so he ordered what he thought would be a little brownie sundae or something...and it was like two brownies the size of my entire head with like 8 scoops of ice cream....Anyway by the time we left we had two huge to go bags.
Im not sure why i gave such a descrription of our night there but whatever...haha.
Wednesday we went up to visit his grandparents in New Hampshire with all his cousins. It was a good time...and then we went home played board games with his fam..haha dorky but oh so fun.
Thursday beth's new bf Dan came up to spend the rest of the week with us. Pat's mom was so happy to have everyone together . It was really fun for her..and im glad cuz she is like the nicest woman ever.
Thursday night pat suprized me and took me to my guilty but dorky pleasure..Disney on Ice..and it was soo wonderful...it was princess classics..and i just felt like a little kid and like everything at that moment was perfect and peaceful in my little world. haha.
Friday we went to the museum of Science and we saw this Amazon movie in the Omni theater it was good but it made me soooo neasous...esp since we hadn't eaten since breakfast. Then after the museum we went to bertuccies...where we had this new waiter who kept messing oour orders up...and instead of being upset or anything i just felt so bad for him he look so confused..and i definitely remember that feeling. But the food was good none the less.
Friday night consisted of more board games...and i gave his parents there presents. I got the friends scene it game for Mrs. H. and beth...and i got this western/john wayne Dvd for Mr. H. and then i made a batch of chocolate covered cherries for them. His mom gave me this really nice purple fleece blanket...and these really night socks that were warm yet light...haha it was just loovely.
Then Saturday for lunch his mom and made baked mac'n cheese...so scrumtious...then we headed down to Kris's in westboro for the first part of our New Years eve night. It was really fun...all the old gang was there...and some people from SNHU and London...and stuff it was lots of fun i wish i didnt have to leave...but we had to make our way all the way back to Danvers to go to another party...which was also very fun...but i definitly got a little to much drink in me cuz for the first time i forgot some stuff that happened and im not into that...so anyway...no drinking till next new years....and possibly my birthday...( haha we'll see.)
Sunday after coming back from Danvers ..Mrs. H cooked us this whole big breakfast....french toast, home fries, eggs, toast, etc...it was delicious.
Sunday was also me and patrick's 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY!! Sooo happy! Both of us are kind of broke so we kept it kind of low key but it was still fun. We went bowling in the early evening and played at the arcade...air hockey and stuff..( i know we're dorks..haha) then we would have gone out to eat but word on the street was that Mrs. H was makin stuffed shells...so we booked it back to the harlows..haha...then after dinner we went to the movies and saw "Fun with Dick and Jane" it was cute.
Monday all we wanted to do was hang in...so we did we just watched some movies, played cards, and nintendo and cuddled and such...it was nice. :)
Tuesday i came back to my mom's and packed my stuff to stay @ my grandparents. Wendesday i went over to kristin's we made dinner and rented movies...then Po..came over. I stayed the night and woke up at 12 it was wonderful haha. Then we watched another movie and she went to work and i came back here, did some treadmilling, ate some dinner, and went to bed. Today Pat is picking me up and we are grabbing some grub then going to JJ's concert, tomorrow we are going to see Brokeback Mountain...then its patriots for the rest of the day...
So all in all the vaca has been treatin me alrightttt.
I cant wait to get back to school though and start rehearsals for "The Country Wife". Woot.

| So much as happened since ive updated as usual so rather then dragging it out in paragraph form ill just list :
- Performed in 3 shows this semester.
- Performed in a musical christmas charity event.
- Was accepted into the BFA program
- Got into the spring production of "The Country Wife"
- Made some really awesome friends with whom over the semester i partied with, climbed to the top of a mountain at midnight to make smores with, made cookies with, saw movies with, etc..
- Spent a lot of time hanging with patrick. Our relationship is amazingly strong!
- Can't stand my roomate.
-Love my suitemates
-My new mentor is David Allen George
-My uncle passed away. ( one of the saddest and hardest moments ive ever had to deal with..and thats all im ever going to write about that.)
- Visted my dad a few times.
-Went to NY with Ph to see my dad and go into the city.
- Celebrated xmass....(just isnt the same anymore)
-Celebrated Pats birthday....bought him a weiner kleener as a joke gift...many laughs followed.
-some other random stuff...but i guess thats all the major stuff.
Tomorrow pat is coming to pick me up and we are going to celebrate christmas...i think we are going into boston and stuff..should be fun!...Then Wed going up to New Hampshire with him to visit his grandparents...then friday possibly going to the museum of science.
Tonight i am going to the picadilly to see what shifts i can pick up...then my uncle and aunt and cousins will be here and we are celebrating xmas with them.
Other than that...things have been going pretty good..there have been some low moments but nothing to bad. Really enjoying the theater program at school. Its really intense and challenging.
Auditioning at the NETC's in March...and hopefully getting something out of that and then Im either or also directing the summer shakespeare for Hudson.
The year is flying by...Pat and I have our 2 year anniversary Jan 1.
So crazy..so amazing.
Well time to take a shower and get ready for the day.

We have never formally met, yet she claims to know everything about me and reads my LJ on a daily basis. She is not good looking...everyone i talk to who knows her says she is fat, ugly , and bitchy...she has a bf yet she is constantly in the business of her exboyfriends new girlfriend (me :) ) and she adds a comment about me in at least one of her journal entries a month.
Now from this you would tend to think this person..is maybe still in love with her ex...leads a really boring life...is one of those people that needs to comment on the lives of others to make herself feel good or..she is just an uncontrollable bitch who thinks she is god's gift to earth. This has been going on for almost two years now. You think she would move on with her life...but no ...its so depressing.
Basically im writing about this because i want it to be known to all that if i ever break up with Patrick or any other boy for that matter and start to involve myself in the life of his new girlfriend please smack me and remind me of the complete patheticness of this person...
I just don't understand what the point of it is...
unless this person was truly interested and still cared for the boy that she broke up with why would she care enough to spend the time to do the shit she does...

Also... i am having a really good month and i can't wait for the Holidays. I just decided what i want to get PH for his birthday so im not as stressed..of course there is still xmas, and our anniversary...oh god. I really hope i make some money over break.
Anyway i think i want to have a xmas party...so im gonna send out invites soon...i really miss some people from my old school and i know its a haul but who knows maybe some of them live in the area.
Also i really love the people here...it feels like a family and everyone supports each other and there are no L'F's with meat sauce causing contraversy.

| Just waiting...and being bored..
1. My uncle once: took me outside and tried to show me how to shoot a hunting gun, and when i tried i ended up smacking myself in the eye with the back of the gun...not really sure how that happen..haha good times.
2. Never in my life: have i felt so ready to live life to the fullest and be crazy and be so at peace with who i am...haha cheesy i know, but true.
3. When I was five: I was in the kindergarden circus as a tight rope walker...except the tight rope was a piece of wood on the floor. I wore a pretty green outfit and look mightyyyy cute.
4. High School is: filled with a lot of good memories, good friends, bad caf food, and mostly good experiences...except for bio and math...those were definite downers..
6. I once met: a guy who looked like elvis, and was playing Elvis, and who's hero was elvis, but who was not Elvis himself...but still a major looker..haha.
7. There's this girl I know who: is so pathetic and so stuck in the past...its just ugh...it makes me vomit a little in my mouth
8. Once, at a bar: I saw this old guy ( late 60's) grab one of my best friends and start dancing with her...and it made me laugh and laugh and laugh
10. Last night: I did some laundry, played some cards, ate a lot of pizza rolls...and said goodbye to bf... then i fell to sleep and dreamt some really scary ass dreams.

| Annnddd...the results of my callbacks for the spring show have been casted andddd
I got in! theplay,is "The Country Wife" I am Mrs. Squeamish. I am so fucking excited! I love David Allen George! He is amazing and is my new mentor.
I will also be preforming in the Holiday dinner theatre show. Come see it on December 1oth!
This is just what i needed.

| So many things have happened since i last updated. Some events have been very upsetting and they have caused me to postpone writing anything in this until now. Life has been throwing me a lot of shit lately. I wish that i had had some more down time to deal with everything. I have been so busy working on shows, being in shows, homework, tests, papers, auditions....i feel like all the bad stuff that happened was just rushed at me like a quick slap in the face, and now i have down time, and all i can do is focus on that stuff. I mean i guess its good that im coming to terms with it, but at the same time...its not doing any good.
Im really thankful to have made such awesome friends here, and to of course have patrick always by my side. Otherwise i'd be even more of a wreck...
But there have been a lot of good things too. I have met some really awesome professors here, who think i have a lot of potential and really want me to make it. I'm making great connnections, and learning a lot about what i want to do with my life.
I auditioned for my first film on Friday it was a cool experience so even if i dont get the part it was a good time. I also auditioned for this holiday show on saturday and i think i got in...so that should be fun.
I can't believe how many monolouges i have to memorize and do this year and every year for the next three years. Already i've had to do 5, and ill have to memorize another 2 for BFA juries in theSpring, and 2 more for next year's fall shows, then two more for the NETC'S in march...well at least ill be well rounded...haha...so much work though...waa.
In other news...it was weird to be in Salem for Halloween this year...i mean now that i live here. I didnt do any haunted houses...which is a bummer cuz i love that stuff...o well. Amanda, Po, and Jess came up from Marlborough and on our way downtown we were stuck in traffic waiting for a parade of 5,000 FUCKING MOTORCYCLES to go by...they didnt have a detour sign or anything we sat there for over an hour before another car finally moved so we were able to back out and turn around. But the night was still a good time.
I saw SAW II on halloween it was really good. I love the adrenalin rush from scary movies...although this one was way more gore than it was scary... :P
Also being a transfer sucks...i am having so much trouble getting things to transfer...it just sucks that i spent money to take courses at Umass and they were just a waste...and its not like they were weird courses i mean it's stuff like Gen Psych...i just have to much of certain things and they are just counting as Electives. Boo to that.
Tomorrow night Pat is coming over and cooking dinner and we are gonna try to fix my computor..and then we do some cuddling and i will woo him. haha...i dunno.He has been so awesome through everything. He is my soulmate aka my lobster.
This weekend we built a fort in his living room...it was great we were like 5 year olds. We just spent the whole weekend watching movies and cuddling. It was the first weekend in forever that we didnt have a billion interuptions...soo good. Sunday i went out to dinner with him and his parents...and i paid...they've paid for me so many times i thought it was the least i could do...haha but then i went to look in my account and i have like 10 bucks so next time i should prlly check on that before i decide to be lend my funds haha...but whatev...it was way overdue.
I can't wait to go down to NY and see my dad and my uncle and cousin and my grandma...i miss them so much. Im gonna take pat down too. IT should be a good time. I cant believe its almost present buying time. I am so screwed...bleh.
Im getting notin for xmas mommy and daddy are mad, im gettin nottin for xmas cuz i aint been nottin but bad.... : )
